Nell Mondy Fellowship

Dr. Nell I. Mondy was recognized world-wide as an important contributor to the fields of plant biochemistry, food science, and human nutrition, receiving numerous honors for her work at Cornell University and abroad. She was a dedicated member of Sigma Delta Epsilon/Graduate Women in Science (SDE/GWIS) and established the Nell I. Mondy Fellowship to benefit outstanding women scientists and their research efforts. In 2005, Nell I. Mondy passed away, but SDE/GWIS is pleased to continue her legacy in the Nell I. Mondy Fellowships.

Sigma Delta Epsilon/Graduate Women in Science announces the 2016 Nell I. Mondy Fellowships to support the research of exceptional women scientists in the areas of food, nutrition or toxicological sciences. The Nell I. Mondy Fellowships offer awards for a period of one year to provide funding for research-associated expenses.

Purdue University - Graduate Research Assistantships and one Postdoctoral Research Associate

The Department of Food Science at Purdue University has two Graduate Research Assistantship (PhD) and one Postdoctoral Research Associate positions commencing 2016 Spring Semester or thereafter with a focus on the impact of fouling on sustainability of food processing.
