Fountaine Reading Room
The Department of Animal Science and Industry and the Food Science Institute rededicated
the Fountaine Library in Call Hall on Friday, April 29, 2010. The library was originally
established through a gift by the Fountaine family and has been used by generations
of students. Pictured at right are Tom Fountaine and Bill Fountaine with a photo of
their father, Dr. F.C. "Charlie" Fountaine.
Through a wonderful donation by Danisco to support our food science and animal science students, a comprehensive renovation of the library including carpet, paint, furniture and in-depth cleaning was just completed. This renovation project was spearheaded by students from the Food Science Club.
